The Center of Power Gereration (CPG) is a cooperation of the institutes of the Technical University of Munich which are occupied with the research on energy transformation to gain power in the broader sense. Aside from efficient and innovative power plant technologies the research spectrum also includes transportation, storage and controling systems for electricity in the future as well as new and optimized technologies to reduce the exhaust.
The CPG is part of the research project TUM Energy which is a section of the interdisciplinary Munich School of Engineering (MSE).
By the linking and the concentration of knowledge and ressources from several institutes of the TUM which are involved in power generation, best conditions are created to get a highly efficient collaboration over the faculties.
Furthermore the CPG shall serve as qualified contact for intrested parties and potential partners. Thereby it can help to transport the expert knowledge outside and to share it.
On this sites you will find the participating institutes, current projects, some more information and the contact to the Center of Power Generation.
